Every day, tons of perfectly good food end up in the trash. Meanwhile, in the most remote areas of Peru, there are invisible stories of hunger, abandonment, and loneliness. Elderly people living in the mountains, children walking miles for a small plate of food, mothers wondering what they will cook tomorrow.

At AGAPE HAND, we decided not to stand idly by. Our mission is clear: Unite against food waste and bring hope to those who need it most!

We work in the most forgotten regions of the Peruvian highlands and jungle. We rescue food that others discard, transform it into solidarity baskets, and deliver it directly into the hands of those forgotten by the system.

Every rescued food item means a plate served.
Every plate served means life.
Every life reached means love in action.

How Do We Do It?

Our team and volunteers visit markets, companies, private donors, and strategic allies who allow us to rescue food in perfect condition. We then distribute it responsibly to elderly people living in abandonment, malnourished children, and families living in extreme poverty.

Additionally, we provide empowerment workshops, community gardens, and training so that these communities can produce their own food sustainably.
