Doña Rosa is 76 years old and lives alone in a small community where food is often scarce. Before she met us, she survived on whatever she could find—picking through what was left in the fields or collecting leftovers from the potato harvest just to eat. Anemia and weakness were part of her daily life.
Since Agape Hand began delivering rescued, nutritious food to her neighborhood, her life has changed. Today, Doña Rosa receives fresh fruits, vegetables, legumes, and basic supplies that restore her strength, health, and hope.

“Thanks to you, I no longer have to choose between buying my medicine or finding something to eat. Now I eat better, and sometimes I even cook for my neighbors when I have enough. I don’t feel forgotten anymore.”
Doña Rosa is just one of many elderly individuals we support across more than 42 low-income communities through our food distributions.
