At AGAPE HAND, we believe that every effort counts and that collective impact can change the world. In 2024, we reached a significant milestone: we have benefited more than 178,000 people in vulnerable communities across Peru. This achievement reflects our commitment to children, the elderly, native communities, and rural populations in the highlands.
Our Impact in 2024
This year, we worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life for thousands of people through key initiatives:
- Support for the elderly: More than 15,000 senior citizens received assistance with food, healthcare, and emotional well-being.
- Child education: We distributed school kits to 25,000 children in rural and native communities, ensuring access to essential materials.
- Native communities: We implemented clean water and sanitation projects, benefiting Shipibo and Ashaninka families.
- Agricultural and economic development: In the highlands, we trained thousands of farming families in sustainable agricultural techniques and facilitated access to irrigation and responsible production.
Challenges and Projects for 2025
Despite these achievements, much remains to be done. Our agenda for the coming year includes:
- Expanding educational and healthcare infrastructure in rural areas.
- Strengthening our nutrition and entrepreneurship programs.
- Creating a vocational training center for women, youth, and people with disabilities.
